    What makes it special?
    • Designed to help you mix, match and apply any color imaginable
    • 22 intermixable shades & 1 clear pastelizer
    • Use multiple colors side by side without foils
    • Free of ammonia, peroxide or parabens
    • Semi-permanent hair color
    • Fades beautifully on tone
    • Lasts up to 20 washes
    • No developer needed
  • This color is ready to use, do not mix with peroxide.

For pastelized results dilute Paints shade with Clear to desired color intensity.

    DIRECTIONS:

    1. Apply Paints either on dry , clean pre-lightened hair or natural hair lighter than 9.
    2. Develop for 20 minutes.
    3. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear.
    4. Shampoo and condition as required.
  • Paints shows best on light hair. If your starting color is darker than a medium blonde, you will need to pre-lighten hair for more noticeable results.

Want a more pastel look? Add Clear to pastelize any Paints shade.

When applying product, apply liberally and massage in with fingers. Don't forget to wear gloves.

Paints is a semi-permanent hair color so no developer is needed - just apply from tube onto hair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pink Hair Dye Wella Color washes out relatively easily, light pink color is difficult to bond to hair

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just alright I received the blue color charm paints. Decided that the blue was not the right color for me, so I used it on my 8 year old nieces hair (auntie of the year award!). I was pretty impressed with how easily it soaked through her hair, since a lot of the time the semi permanent cream color is pretty thick. My niece has virgin platinum blonde hair, so it lightening it beforehand was not necessary. it also has a nice light scent to it unlike some other brands. we left it on her hair for almost an hour in hopes that the color would be super vibrant- it really wasn't. It turned a pretty shade of denim blue- but this was not exactly the color I thought it would be. I was hoping for a more vibrant blue. It may have been more vibrant if she didn't have virgin hair, though. Either way- she LOVES it and feels like the coolest 8 year old around! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not come out of my hair I expected a temporary hair dye that lasted a month/month and a half. It's been 3 months and despite using color remover it still hasn't come out. It's the ugliest dark red color as well

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money Bought this 2 days ago along with the Clear tube. It has absolutely no pigmentation, after following instructions and leaving on my hair for over 30 minutes, the color simply washed off. This product is not good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and Easy To Do Ive never tried anything like this on my hair before so this was a fun, new experience. Using this hair product was easy to do by myself which surprised me. (I usually never dye my own hair). They have so many fun colors to choose from too! I would definitely recommend if you want a temporary hair color for awhile or to test out a hair color before making a permanent decision. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product i have blonde hair so any semi permanent or permanent hair dye is going to look normal in my hair so i cant say the same for anyone else with any other hair color. I think this is a good product and i definitely reccomend it more then some other brand that can severely damage your hair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The mauve was perfect Loved this color I used it four times and loved each result. If you mixed mauve with a little conditioner you get a nice rose gold color( my hair was a level 7) If you don’t mix anything you get a nice pink as well. Good pink for deeper skin tones. Will be returning to this color when summer returns

How does the blue fade? Does it start turning a light green? Or will it fade to a light blue?

Can this be used on damp hair, i have forgotten the hairdryer!

Asked by: tomtom01
If your hair is wet it will dilute the dye and the dye will not work as well. Best to air dry your hair if you dont have a hairdryer. You dont want to have to do all that work and waste all the dye and have it not work properly just because you couldnt wait to dry your hair first.

How those it work on grey hair?

Asked by: Yumeta55
Semi/Demi permanent is not a good choice for use on grey hair. You want permanent.

i want to do a light orange. my hair is brown, half is currently bleached - roots have grown out. going to bleach it back to hopefully an ash or platinum color. how well will the coral show up?

Asked by: yams1521
For a semi permanent color to show, you'll have to get to three Platinum blonde. Semi permanent colors do not lift any natural color from your hair and therefore the color won't show unless there's very little color under it. Also, with the hair porous from being bleached, you will need to use great care in shampooing you hair or the color will wash out quickly.

how well does it cover gray hair? Do you have to leave it on longer?

Asked by: punkin47
If you do not use any developer it should cover it for a bit. This color can be very patchy and will fade quickly especially on grey areas.

Hola! I have a blonde pixie...the top of my hair is platinum and the sides are yellow - Im okay with the look, but for fall, and ‘back to work in a more conservative environment” Id like to darken it. Maybe caramel or brown? Any recommendations.

Asked by: Flammingjun
These are not really suitable for that. Prior to going brown, you need to do a “filler colour” since you stripped it to go platinum. So you’ll need to do a two step process. Use something in a Demi-permanent in a strawberry blonde, then you can go to your brown.

how does it work on dirty blonde hair and how will it come out when dyed?

Asked by: gianna565
I just did my 11yr old daughters hair with this. She has a darker dirty blonde hair and the color turned out great! I was worried you wouldn't be able to tell. But you definitely can. She picked the Red.

Will the color clear if my hair is a dark mulberry and I want to put clear on it will it come out clear???

Asked by: Anonymous
Will you hair color come out clear? No. The clear is just an additive to the color to make it lighter, like if you wanted a pastel purple instead of a dark purple.
